
The V&A alongside the BBC recently hosted the Open Doors: Vote 100 event marking the anniversary of the 1918 Representation of the People act which gave some women the right to vote in the UK.
The film shown at the event titled “Continuing Conversations” by Jade Jackman of Black Dog Films and graded by Andrew Cloke aims to open up dialogues about women’s accessibility and representation within the art world. The short film features amputee dance-artist Kat Hawkins, Girls in Film founder Nikola Vasakova, Dazed Arts & Culture editor Ashleigh Kane, and artist and She-Zine founder Diana Chire.
